Dras was born from a simple observation: ice meant for human consumption in India was unorganised, unhygienic, and often unsafe. While everyone focused on bottled water, no one questioned the ice in their drinks.
We changed that.
In 2018, Dras became India's first premium packaged ice brand, bringing hygiene, structure, and transparency to a category that desperately needed it. Our ice is produced in a fully sanitised, human-contact-free environment and packaged to meet the highest food safety standards, because ice is food.
Our name, Dras, is inspired by one of the coldest inhabited places on Earth, a high-altitude town in Ladakh known for its pristine snow, glacial purity, and extreme cold.

The answer was clear. The same standards that shaped our ice, purity, safety, and transparency would guide our approach to water. And so, Dras Water was born: natural mineral water from the Himalayas, preserved without aggressive processing, delivered with the same reliability our customers expect.
QUALITY AND PROCESS
For Dras Water:
Our water travels from the aquifer to the bottle with minimal intervention. It's filtered naturally through Himalayan rock, tested for purity, and bottled at the source to lock in freshness. No aggressive treatment. No artificial additives.
For Dras Ice:
Our ice is made using purified water in a fully automated, human-contact-free facility. The production process is designed to eliminate contamination risks, and every batch is tested for microbial safety. It's then hygienically sealed in food-grade packaging—ready for safe consumption.
